Al Cohn

Al Cohn was a prominent American jazz saxophonist, born in 1925. His career gained momentum during his tenure with the renowned clarinetist Woody Herman's band, where he showcased his exceptional saxophone skills. Cohn's musical prowess extended beyond performance, as he was also a skilled arranger and composer, leaving an indelible mark on the jazz scene.

Cohn's most notable collaboration was with fellow saxophonist Zoot Sims, with whom he shared a long-standing musical partnership.
