He also expanded his scope of work to include other organizations, notably serving as vice-chair of the board of trustees at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City from 2016 to 2021. In this capacity, Foxman helped lead the museum's initiatives against antisemitism, leveraging his expertise and experience to make a lasting impact. He passed away in 2026, leaving behind a legacy of tireless advocacy and dedication to his cause.
