Michael Ben-Ari is a politician from Israel who has been involved in the country's political landscape. His career in politics led him to become a member of the Knesset, where he represented the National Union party during the 18th Knesset. As the elections for the 19th Knesset approached, Ben-Ari co-founded the Otzma LeYisrael party after the National Union party dissolved. However, he was unable to secure re-election to the 19th Knesset.

Ben-Ari holds a notable position as the first outspoken follower of Rabbi Meir Kahane to be elected to the Knesset. He also possesses a Ph.D. in Land of Israel and Archaeology studies, demonstrating his academic background. His political career has been marked by controversy, including a court-issued ban that prevented him from participating in the 2019 election. Despite this, Ben-Ari remains a figure in Israeli politics, having been a part of the country's legislative body and advocating for his beliefs.
