Robert Sirota is a renowned American composer with a diverse range of works in various genres, including solo instrumental, vocal, chamber, orchestral, operatic, and liturgical music. Based in New York City and Searsmont, Maine, Sirota has established himself as a prolific composer with a distinctive voice. His compositions have been performed and recorded by numerous musicians, showcasing his versatility and skill as a composer.

Sirota's music has been featured on several studio albums, with recordings dating back to 1994. Notable ensembles such as the Dinosaur Annex Ensemble, the Chiara String Quartet, and the American String Quartet have interpreted his works.
