Simon Rex

Simon Rex is an American actor born in 1974. He initially gained recognition as a VJ on MTV, which marked the beginning of his career in the entertainment industry. Rex later transitioned to acting, landing notable roles in the television series What I Like About You and appearing in several films, including multiple installments of the Scary Movie franchise. His film career also includes a role in National Lampoon's Pledge This!, released in 2006.

In addition to his acting pursuits, Rex has also explored a career in music. Under the rap persona Dirt Nasty, he has released solo albums and co-founded the hip-hop group Three Loco. Rex's acting career experienced a resurgence in 2021 with his critically acclaimed lead role in Sean Baker's drama film Red Rocket. His performance in the film earned him the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, solidifying his talent and versatility as an actor.
